Schitul Pelisor a luat fiinta in anul 2005 in satul Pelisor din comuna Barghis, judetul Sibiu. Poarta hramul "Sfantul Proroc Ilie Tezviteanu" si a fost sfintit sub binecuvantarea IPS Dr. Laurentiu Streza. In cadrul Schitului Pelisor a fost ridicata o biserica din lemn, cateva chili si o sala de mese cu o capacitate de 150 de persoane pentru sarbatorile mai importante si diverse evenimente. Cel mai important eveniment este sarbatorirea hramului, cand se organizeaza o slujba oficiala.
