Am redescoperit Mangalia acum cativa ani.Am coborat in gara orasului ametiti de drumul lung de noapte.
Aerul usor sarat te face sa ghicesti doar prezenta Marii si fluturii din stomac au inceput sa zburde.Atunci am inteles:eram indragostita de Mare,eram indragostita de Mangalia.
Orasul era proaspat si curat.Flori pe marginea soselei,flori agatate strajuind trotuarul si deasupra cerul de un albastru neverosimil.
Chiar si numele –Mangalia-care vine de la Pangalia , in greaca veche inseamna “cea mai frumoasa”.
De atunci revenim in fiecare an cu un dor nemarginit in acest colt de Romanie ,cu sentimentul ca am lipsit prea mult,ca aici este locul nostru.
Ma gandesc ca la fel de mult trebuie sa fi indragit acest loc minunat si grecii care au intemeiat prima colonie antica.
Plaja este micuta dar curata si cocheta.In zorii fiecarei zile tractoare curata si niveleaza nisipul fin.
Strazile orasului,imbinare de arhaic si modern par ca se topesc sub talpile noastre in aerul fierbinte de amiaza.
Ramanem pe plaja pana seara ,dupa apus,cand se strang barcile si sezlongurile,cand de la o terasa razbate o muzica in surdina si pescarusii prind curaj si exploreaza nisipul.Rasare o luna imensa iar valurile se napustesc spre uscat .
Si serile…oh,serile din Mangalia…
Briza blanda rascoleste faleza.De o parte , terasele ce adapostesc cu discretie deopotriva perechi sau grupuri si de cealalta parte marea intunecata,zgomotoasa sau linistita.
Intr-un mic golfulet plutesc cu gratie lebede,o incantare pentru priviri.Seara ne oprim sa mancam la terasa “Amicii” de pe faleza,unde nu sti ce mananci pentru ca sufletul iti zburda la privelistea din fata ta:in stanga Marea,in fata portul cu miile de luminite,Farul si imprejurul nostru gradina de flori si minunatul copac cu lumini de culori schimbatoare.Sau sa savuram o masa pescareasca la “Poseidon”,chiar pe plaja leganati de o muzica greceasca ?Grea alegere.
In portul turistic de curand amenajat ne plimbam pe platforma de promenada, admiram ambarcatiunile de agrement dupa care ne continuam plimbarea pana la farul din Mangalia aflat la celalalt capat al falezei.Romantic vestigiu istoric si avand 10 m inaltime farul a fost construit in 1898 si pare ca timpul s-a oprit in loc.
